For providers either relocating from across the country or simply from across town, EMA offers a relocation assistance program to help make the move a smooth process.
All providers working with EMA affiliated groups are independent contractors and are required to form professional medical corporations. The corporation may be either a “C” corporation or an “S” corporation. Limited Liability Companies (LLCs) and corporations formed in another state are not permitted to be licensed by the California Medical Board. If needed, EMA can refer providers to qualified professionals who can help with both the formation process and any ongoing accounting or legal needs.
